“Michigan’s Best Boat Party” highlights race week in the

Maritime Capital of the Great Lakes.

It’s time for the world’s largest freshwater sailing race and that means the “Rock the Dock “Bash aboard the yacht Comfortably Numb is once again center stage. The 7th edition of the “Rock the Dock” Bash promises to be the best party in Port Huron and the most talked about on Mackinac Island after the race. Family, friends and wanttobe crew gather aboard the Numb Boat for a night of good luck toasts, great music and some of the best people watching ever. It is a great opportunity to visit the boat and meet the crew that will be racing in the 81st edition of the Bacardi Bayview Yacht Club’s Port Huron to Mackinac sailing race, which brings 263 of the finest race boats and more than 3,000 racers to the Blue Water Area. A sea of masts, sails and flags provide a colorful backdrop for the Bash, which once was a simple on the boat party, but has swelled to encompass fore-deck twister, body shot madness and a late night pub crawl to some of the bars of Port Huron. Come out and show your support to the crew of the yacht Comfortably Numb… Bring a bottle of your favorite Rhum or a few cans of brew…

Help us Rock the Dock!

The boat is located at the Port Huron Municipal Marina in Port Huron. From I-94 exit Water street and turn right from the ramp. Proceed on Water Street until it dead ends at 10th street and turn left. Take 10th street over the bridge and make a right turn at the first street then an immediate right turn onto River Street. Follow River Street down until you see the big parking lot on the left. You should also see the fire station to the right. Comfortably Numb will be located between the Harbor Master Station and 7th Street Bridge and you should try to find a place to park in the vicinity and walk down to the boat.
